To set-up your e-mail in Microsoft Outlook Express:

  1. Open Outlook Express.
  2. Go to Tools -> Accounts in the menu.
  3. Click Add -> Mail.
  4. Type your name in the Display name field, and then click Next.
  5. Type your full e-mail address in the Email address field, and then click Next.
  6. Type mail.yourdomain.com (for example, mail.kncihosting.com) in the Incoming mail server and Outgoing mail server fields, and then click Next.
  7. Type your full e-mail address in the Account name field.
  8. Type your e-mail password in the Password field, and then click Next.
  9. Select the account you just created, and then click Properties.
  10. Click the Servers tab, and then check the box ”My server requires authentication”.
  11. Click the Advanced tab.
  12. Type ”26″ in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) field.
  13. To leave a copy of incoming messages on the server for a period before removing them, so that they are accessible via webmail, check the box “Leave a copy of messages on server”, and then check the box “Remove from server after _ days”. We recommend setting this to 7 days or less, to avoid filling up your mailbox on the server.
  14. Click OK.
