Setting up your email account with KNCI Hosting on your iPhone doesn’t have to be complicated. These instructions will walk you through the process.
- On your iPhone, click the Settings icon.
- Select Mail, Contacts, Calendar.
- Click Add Mail Account.
- Click Other.
- Complete the New Account screen with the following information, then click Next in the top-right corner.
- Name: your name as you want it to appear on outgoing messages
- Email: your full email address
- Password: your email password
- Description: a description you will use to identify your account
- Fill out the fields in the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server sections with the same information.
- Host Name: mail.yourdomain.com
- Username : your full email address
- Password : your email password
- If you get a message that the server cannot be trusted, click Accept.
- You will be returned to the Account Settings screen. Click Next in the top-right corner.
- Turn off the Notes slider, and then tap Save.
Can’t Delete Email from iPhone?
Some people will receive the following error when trying to delete email on their iPhone:|
Unable to Move Message: The message could not be moved to the mailbox.
If you have this problem, follow these additional steps to fix the issue.
- On your iPhone, click the Settings icon.
- Select Mail, Contacts, Calendar.
- Select your email account.
- Go to the bottom of the screen, and click Advanced.
- Go to the bottom of the screen, and click IMAP Path Prefix.
- Type INBOX in all caps.
- Click Accounts at the top-left, and then click Done in the top-right to close the settings.
- You should now be able to delete emails on your iPhone.
