If you use IMAP to access your e-mail on your phone or computer, or you use webmail on the server, you may end up with a large Trash folder. This doesn’t count against your personal mailbox quota, but it does count against your hosting account’s overall quota, so it is a good idea to empty it periodically. Also, if you clean up your mailbox my deleting a large amount of mail at once, you’ll also need to empty the trash when you’re done to fully clear the space.

You can use Gmail to download your email from our server and consolidate all of your email accounts in your Gmail inbox. This can be useful on your desktop if you don’t have Outlook or another email program, or on a phone so you can just use one mail app for all your accounts.

We highly recommend changing your email password on our server periodically, and using strong passwords to avoid your account being compromised. Use the instructions below to log in to webmail to change your password. Once you change your password, you will need to update your email program on your computer, as well as your cell phone and tablets, with the new password. In addition, if you have any services (such as Gmail) that login to your account to send or receive email, you will need to update them with your new password as well.
You may find it helpful to move messages sent to certain email accounts to a separate folder, other than your Inbox.
